{"id":12317,"date":"2019-01-12T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2019-01-12T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.airwhizz.com\/?p=12317"},"modified":"2019-01-12T11:30:12","modified_gmt":"2019-01-12T06:00:12","slug":"government-clears-plan-for-greenfield-airport-in-arunachal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.airwhizz.com\/index.php\/2019\/01\/12\/government-clears-plan-for-greenfield-airport-in-arunachal\/","title":{"rendered":"Government Clears Plan For Greenfield Airport In Arunachal!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dream of having an airport in Arunuchal Pradesh\u2019s\ncapital city is on its way to becoming a reality after the union finance\nministry on Friday cleared the proposal for the greenfield airport in Hollongi.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Environment and Forest and the Steering\nCommittee of the Ministry of Civil Aviation had also cleared the proposal for\nthe greenfield airport on December 28<sup>Th<\/sup>.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chief Minister Pema Khandu said the greenfield airport,\nestimated at a cost of Rs 1,055 crore, will be a state-of-the-art\ninfrastructure which will propel economic development besides improving\nconnectivity for the local population.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a detailed discussion, the Public Investment Board of\nthe Finance Ministry approved the land acquisition rate as proposed by the\ncommittee and endorsed by the state government.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the board noted that it would be the responsibility\nof the state to hand over the land free of all encumbrances to the Airport\nAuthority of India and set a target to have the airport ready within 4 years.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to <g class=\"gr_ gr_5 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"5\" data-gr-id=\"5\">Mr<\/g> Pema Khandu \u201cIt\u2019s <g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\">matter<\/g> of great joy for Team Arunachal that today the decades-old dream of having our own airport has been realized.
