{"id":12378,"date":"2019-01-22T12:11:50","date_gmt":"2019-01-22T06:41:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.airwhizz.com\/?p=12378"},"modified":"2019-01-22T12:12:03","modified_gmt":"2019-01-22T06:42:03","slug":"bengaluru-airport-to-remain-partially-closed-for-10-days-from-14th-feb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.airwhizz.com\/index.php\/2019\/01\/22\/bengaluru-airport-to-remain-partially-closed-for-10-days-from-14th-feb\/","title":{"rendered":"Bengaluru Airport To Remain Partially Closed For 10 Days From 14th Feb!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure the safety of passengers and success of the Bengaluru air show, the Kempegowda International Airport will be partially closed for commercial flight operations during the days of practice and the main show.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aero space exhibition \u201cAero India 2019\u201d will be held in\nBengaluru from February 20 to Feb 24. <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KIA will be shut for commercial flights during particular\nhours from February 14 to February 24, which includes practice days, full dress\nrehearsal, inauguration ceremony and air display, among others.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BIAL is working with airlines, whose services will be\nimpacted during this period, to ensure minimal disruption to their existing\nschedule during the reduced operating hours.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Passenger convenience will be ensured with the respective\nairlines sharing all information on the change in airport operations and the\ncancelled\/revised flight timings during the show.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 12th edition of the trade event will showcase\ntechnologies and products of global and Indian aerospace and defence firms,\nwith static and flying display of military and civil aircraft, including\nfighters, jets, helicopters and air weapons.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besides global leaders and investors in the aerospace\nindustry, think-tanks from the world over are expected to participate in the\nevent, organised by the Defence Ministry along with other related\norganisations.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are the details of the closure timings:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Feb 14<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 &nbsp;Feb 17<sup>th<\/sup> (1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.)<\/li><li>Feb 18<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Feb 19<sup>th<\/sup> (10:00\na.m. to 12:00 p.m. &amp; 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)<\/li><li>Feb 20<sup>th<\/sup> (09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.\n&amp; 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)<\/li><li>Feb 21<sup>st<\/sup> \u2013 Feb 24<sup>th<\/sup> (10:00\na.m. &amp; 12:00 p.m. &amp; 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)<\/li><\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To ensure the safety of passengers and success of the Bengaluru air show, the Kempegowda International Airport will be partially closed for commercial flight operations during the days of practice and the main show.
